Fly with you all today! Sorry for my absence, real life (unfortunately) and all that. But what FLITTERIFIC NEWS I have! THERE WILL BE ANOTHER DISNEY FAIRIES FILM!! I stumbled on this post in the Pixie Hollow forums and it's confirmed there will be another Tinker Bell film, currently titled Tinker Bell And The Unknown Season (CLICK HERE TO SEE!) This news comes from a D23 2015 convention sheet detailing upcoming Disney animated films. The bad news, we have to wait till 2020. This confirms my belief the 7th and 8th films were canceled originally to start from scratch on a new Fairies film.
See what the power of faith, trust, and pixie dust has? Legend Of The NeverBeast was NOT the last Disney Fairies film, never fear! Expect an official announcement in August at the D23 convention! 5 years won't be so long, hopefully! Until then, fly with you all later!
Has there been any more information on this? Will it really be 4 years wait for the next one? Too bad for all the little girls who loved the first six...

ReplyDeleteI hope that it well be sooner. My daughter loves these movies! And I do too. It would really ruin the flow of the story the others have told so far. (Shoot, even my friends & I want to know some of the history behind some of the characters - like the queen & the season lords! How did they become who they are...) Plus, Tinkerbell still needs to find Peter. And why does she move out of pixie hollow & live with the lost boys? And what about vidia's story, why did her talent finder glow almost as bright as tinkerbell's? Lol! I know that all my, and my buddies questions won't be answered. But more would be great :-)

ReplyDeleteJust watched all the movies in a day!! I honestly thought everyone was crazy before I watched them... Now I am in love with it!! I love the Neverbeast and I got to be honest: I got a little teary-eyed when Fawn was saying goodbye to him! If there is indeed going to be another movie I hope to be one of the first to watch it!

ReplyDeleteI like to believe you don't have to be a kid to enjoy the movies. although it's mostly for kids, there seems to be enough for adults to watch, so it's not too babyish. I'm a grownup, but I like the tinker bell movies. Maybe because the girls are so cute looking.

ReplyDeleteI am a dad and I enjoy watching all Tinkerbell movies with my girls. I like it more than most Disney princess tales. Always thought the tinker series are well crafted, good story writing, organic, wonderfully plotted.
ReplyDeleteIt is refreshing to see they develop each fairies individually, instead of a one tracked storylines like most princess tails. From a guy perspective, I would love to see the fairies work together like girl child version of Ocean 11-13...
Would love to see the film continue even though we have to wait 4 years. I am sure the girls still like the series by then.
My girls and I watch all the Tinker Bell movies over and over. They never get old! I get as excited as they do when a new one is released. I really hope we get a new one before 2020, that's a long time to wait!

If they don't at least make movies for those two ( where they are more of 'main' characters). Awe man! Disney Fairies are my life, definitely not just for kids!
I also wish they would make a movie where you see more of the community of pixie hollow, and all the amazing characters in the books! Oh, and the music in The Secret of The Wings is so beautiful!! Well, in all the movies! Awe, I think Disney Fairy Movies are the best made movies in the whole world! I wish I could just watch or literally be stuck in them forever! A new movie would be so worth it! Even if we have to wait a while.
