Okay, enough nonsense.  So all the fun ideas I had today have went bad.  None of the coding has worked right and the Nav Bar is way off whack.  Hoping to figure it out soon.  I did however make the picture that appears at the top of the pages tab change.  So there's that.

The Hollywood Reporter has written what I interpret as a pretty favorable review of the upcoming Disney Fairies movie, Legend of the NeverBeast. A lot of the article talks about how this movie shows that Disney is moving in a slightly darker direction, though not so dark that it risks pushing away the original target audience.

This is overly positive as being a Brony for quite a while, it's the deeper underlying stories that draw the larger populous into the fandom. Now I'm not saying that I need a dark and tragic story to enjoy the Fairies, but Disney taking us down this road means one of two things... Either they are struggling with the franchise or they are realizing that there's a larger fan base out there yearning for more.  Here's to hoping it's the latter.

PHD Update #02

Tink is gonna help me knock over a few banks to get through tax season this year. Yeah, you know what I'm talking about. Getting older sucks, especially when you make too much money to get a decent refund but you also make too little money to be comfortable. My preliminary damage?  Let's say I'm in the hole too much.  Okay, enough whining.

So I have started working on the toy section. I got part of 2014 done, and 2009 done. Well, done as in, what I have found so far. I have other stuff to go in for the other years, guess it's just like an attack from all sides thing? I'll get there. I have also ironed out a few more formatting issues.  Planning on getting a big chunk of stuff done over the weekend (when I'm not selling all my stuff to pay the government).

Matt Damon Sporting Fairies!

Yup!  Matt Damon sporting a Disney Fairies backpack.  The guy who stared in all of those Bourne movies that I have never watched is helping the cause.  Okay, so he was probably just carrying it for one of his daughters (he has 4, yes I had to google it) but still.

In other news, I started working on the movie section.  Still waiting for more people to start checking out the page...  I wonder if all blogs go through such a slow start...

Making Decisions

There are so many things that I want to work on... Movies, Toys, etc...  It's very hard to decide where to start.  So far I've watched the first three movies as well as the Pixie Hollow Games short, so I'm not sure if I am ready to talk about all of the movies yet.  The toys are a whole different ball of wax.  There are not only quite a few waves, but there are the 4.5" and 9" lines.  Of which, I'm only collecting the 9" ones... so far.

I guess I'm a little concerned about the name too. From what I've gathered, Pixie Hollow was quite a popular game, and this site has nothing to do with that (especially since the game no longer exists).  Though, the name seems to work. Any thoughts? 

Legend of the Neverbeast Trailer

So, in case you haven't seen it yet, there is a trailer out for the upcoming movie, Tinker Bell and the Legend of the Neverbeast.  The movie looks promising.  Set to release here in the states in early March of 2015.

So, anyone else think that the Neverbeast looks a little like Appa from Avatar: The Last Airbender?

FMV #01: Just the Way I Am

So I am still avoiding most of my Sunday chores and working on the PHD.  I do have a load of laundry going and the dishwasher running, but I still have so much to do!

What happens with the clothes that Fairies take off?  I mean, Tink wears leaves so does she just throw them in the compost heap?

I am still working on a lot of formatting things but I needed a break.  Thought I would add a little something to brighten up everyone's Sunday.  Get the Fairy Music Video below!

Well, I have spent the better part of my day today working on the formatting and whatnot for the site.  Still trying to figure out a lot of the links and what pages to put on here but there will need to be some real content shortly.

For anyone who stumbles across this before it becomes the biggest thing on the net (ya, right), if you feel you would have content to offer, be it Fanfic, art, history, whatever...  Please submit it!

I am also looking for a few internet folks who would like to run the page with me.  Adding content daily seems easy but it would be nice if there were anyone else out there who enjoys the Fairies as much as I do and would like to assist.  Go to the APPLY tab at the top of the page and let me know what you would like to do to help out!
