Next Disney Fairies Movie CONFIRMED!!

Fly with you all today! Sorry for my absence, real life (unfortunately) and all that. But what FLITTERIFIC NEWS I have! THERE WILL BE ANOTHER DISNEY FAIRIES FILM!! I stumbled on this post in the Pixie Hollow forums and it's confirmed there will be another Tinker Bell film, currently titled Tinker Bell And The Unknown Season (CLICK HERE TO SEE!) This news comes from a D23 2015 convention sheet detailing upcoming Disney animated films. The bad news, we have to wait till 2020. This confirms my belief the 7th and 8th films were canceled originally to start from scratch on a new Fairies film.

See what the power of faith, trust, and pixie dust has? Legend Of The NeverBeast was NOT the last Disney Fairies film, never fear! Expect an official announcement in August at the D23 convention! 5 years won't be so long, hopefully! Until then, fly with you all later!

Honesty and Life...

I haven't posted in a while. Life is hard to live sometimes when so much is happening. I must admit that there has been much discontent over the fact that Disney still has not replied to my requests for information about upcoming movies or interests. Still, though they may seem like rumors, some of the people I have spoken with have noted many offices cleared out from people who worked on the Fairies Franchise.

It's also tough when there is no back and forth from visitors. Do I ever think we will be as popular as EQD? No... but it would help to have votes, comments, submissions, etc...

Nevertheless...  I want to push on and I want to keep entertaining the folks who want information.  I just don't know if I can do it every day, which is tough since we are Pixie Hollow Daily.

My hope, after I work on taxes this weekend is to put a little work into the site and get some things set up the right way.  So I can continue to share information but do so reasonably that fits in with life and what there is out there.

Keep the faith my friends, and I will try to.  My love for the Fairies is true and still in my heart.

Pixie Hollow - Where are we going?

We are nearing the 2 month mark of PHD...  There's been a lot of fun so far and we have expanded some over this time.  The road is long and there is still so much to cover.  If we're going to make it, participation counts. Fairies Book Review: Fairy Haven And The Quest For The Wand

Neverbeast Debuts at Number 3

That's right Fairies fans!  Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast debuted at #3 on the national home video sales charts for the week ending March 8.  Only Hunger Games and Big Hero 6 came in above it.  Not bad considering it beat out Barbie and Horrible Bosses 2!  For more of a run down check out the report over on Variety.

The Pirate Fairy Graphic Novel now available!

Fly with you all today! Yesterday the graphic novel for The Pirate Fairy was released. This is the 16th  comic in the Disney Fairies series, with #17, Legend Of The NeverBeast, releasing this June. I own the first one, entitled "Prilla's Talent", but haven't got around to reading it yet due to my reading of the other Disney Fairies books. When I do, expect reviews on these as well. But from glancing through the first volume, they look to be fantastic graphic novels, with lovely illustrations and great stories.

Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The NeverBeast Soundtrack on sale!

I thought I'd give some flitterific news that the soundtrack to Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The NeverBeast is on sale right now for $6.99 (originally $9.99) on iTunes and Amazon! The score and songs in the film are beyond phenomenal. It really does transport you to Pixie Hollow, as Joel McNeely masterfully does with all his scores for the Disney Fairies films. And with songs written by Bleu and performed by KT Tunstall and Bleu, it really is a marvelous soundtrack to listen to, and I highly recommend it, especially while it's on a special sale right now!

Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The NeverBeast NOW AVAILABLE!

Fly with you all today! What a flitterific day it is, with the release of TINKER BELL AND THE LEGEND OF THE NEVERBEAST on Blu-ray, DVD, and digital. I was very lucky yesterday and got my Blu-ray and lithograph set from the Disney Store a day early!! So after my Fairies marathon yesterday I watched it, and by the Second Star, it's a PHENOMENAL, EPIC, FLAPTASTIC, VERY SAD, movie! Seriously, I highly, highly recommend everyone pick it up today. Such an action-packed, emotional movie. Just finished watching it again, and it'll be viewed a 1000+ more times!

Newest Disney Fairies Album Released!!!

Fairy Music?!?!?!  Sweet!  I'm game.  Intrada and Walt Disney Records presents the album for TINKER BELL AND THE GREAT FAIRY RESCUE.  Composer Joel McNeely delivers a magical, exciting, and soaring score and propels Tinker Bell’s third adventure forward.  McNeely set the standard for this series, writing for a large orchestra comprised of some of LAs finest musicans to give these direct-to-video adventures an epic, theatrical feel.  The album also features Vocal Songs: Summer’s Just Begun, How to Believe, Come Flying with Me, and How to Believe.

Sneak preview of Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast tonight!

Attention all fairies and sparrow men! Tonight starting at 8:15pm EST on Disney Channel, there will be a sneak preview of the upcoming Disney Fairies film, Tinker Bell And The Legend Of The Neverbeast. Hosted by Olivia Holt, who plays a new animal fairy in the film, Morgan, we'll get a look at some of the new characters featured in the movie, and a few surprises along the way, no doubt! The previews will air during the Disney Channel movie Bad Hair Day.

I know I'll be tuning in! March 3rd feels like it can't come quick enough(10 days!), so any new content is always a good thing to wet my appetite! Until then, fly with you all later!

Fairies Book Review: Fairy Dust And The Quest For The Egg

A pleasure to fly with you all today! Welcome to my first post, and the first book review on Pixie Hollow Daily! What better way to kick it off than with the novel that started it all, Fairy Dust And The Quest For The Egg! Released in 2005, the book saw the beginning of the Disney Fairies franchise, introducing us to the wonderful world of fairies and their many talents. And this book did a phenomenal job of making Pixie Hollow a living, breathing world that is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year!

TOY REVIEW #02 - Ltd. Ed. Fawn Designer Collection

With the new movie only weeks away on Blu-Ray, it's kinda hard not to be excited about everything Fawn related.  This is from a special edition Disney collection.  Something that will eventually have it's own little area on the site.  Chad Alan does an awesome review of this piece as he always does.  I don't know how he resists not taking it out of the case though.  I'd be all over that!

MovieFone Interviews Ginnifer Goodwin

A quite in-depth interview with Ginnifer Goodwin has popped up over on MovieFone. The interview touches on so much from some of her other projects to how she got involved with the show.

Part of the interview, Ginnifer says, "...such a different process, lending only a voice and having so many elements play into the storytelling and not seeing any of those elements until the thing is made. But it was just such a gift to see, because I could really get swept up in it because I couldn't see myself in it."

The good peeps over at idlehands1 have posted some interesting tidbits about Jakks Pacific's line up at Toy Fair NY 2015.  No photos from the fair just yet but it looks like there will be some neat selections for the Fairies line up this year.

8 DAYS OF VALENTINE - Day 5

Such a beautiful card!  Silvermist...  Long flowing hair, almost always smiling.  Who else remembers when she was trying to teach Tink how to put dew on the webs?

So, more often than not, I see cosplayers doing Silvermist and they are Asian.  Now I am not saying there is anything wrong with that, but why not another character?  Is Silvermist like "the" Asian girl?  Hmmm...  Feel free to comment below!

8 DAYS OF VALENTINES - Day 4

Day four of the Eight Days of Valentines.  Tonight's beautiful fairy is Rosetta.  Ahhhh...  Rosetta.  So lovely. I wonder if the fairy's work hard to make sure that there's enough roses for Valentine's Day? Come to think of it, I wonder how that works for the different hemispheres?  Are there multiple groups of fairies?  Are there any near the equator?

Ahhh yes.  The gorgeous Iridessa.  Lighting up day three.  Wish she would bring some warm sunlight to the Northeast after this disaster of a snowfall.  I think I've snow-blowed my driveway more in the past week than I did all last year.  Despite the snow, I did still get mail and the mail man brought me a wonderful gift.  Check out below the break to see what it is!
